Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring network security and analyze security incidents.
  • Participate in vulnerability assessments and remediation.
  • Help maintain and improve the security posture of existing systems.
  • Support the creation and updating of security documentation and policies.
  • Conduct research on emerging security technologies and trends.
  • Engage in cybersecurity awareness training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to respond to security alerts and incidents.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
  • Understanding of basic security principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
  • Experience with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus, and SIEM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Able to work full-time 40 hours per week during the summer (May-August), flexible schedule, and hourly pay.
