Overview

The focus of this role will be in the Legal Department. In this role you will assist the legal department in a variety of tasks to support ongoing corporate transactions and compliance matters. The intern will work closely with in-house attorneys and gain exposure to a wide range of corporate legal issues.

Responsibilities

Tasks:

 

  • Organize and maintain document databases and schedules
  • Assist with customer ESG survey requests
  • Participate in document review for litigation
  • Help draft policies and agreements.
  • Track legal matters and provide reporting on legal department metrics.
  • Assist in development of legal share point site.

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks until they are completed
  • Conduct research and complete projects
  • Participate in professional networking and meetings

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA
  • Have an interest in corporate law and contracts
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Applicants must have the ability to work in person.
