Position Description:  This position provides a series of practical, hands-on assignments in Distribution Operations.

The successful intern will gain 1) a foundation in logistics problem solving, 2) exposure to a top-notch Logistics Leadership Team, 3) team and interpersonal skills development, and 4) project management experience. Specific assignments during the internship may include:

• Process audits & safety observations
• Flow charting / value stream mapping
• Inventory analysis
• Standard Operating Procedure standardization
• Shipping error investigation & reporting

Qualifications/Requirements: The successful candidate must be self -motivated, demonstrate critical-thinking skills, apply diverse and innovative approaches to the position, and interact positively.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to include Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.   Must have at least Junior semester standing with a 3.0 GPA.
